The Kent State University Ice Arena Learn To Skate Program is busy getting ready to present its spring exhibition, Across the Sea, featuring 42 skaters ranging from very young beginners to recent graduates of the program. The show will take place at 6:30 p.m. April 12 at the KSU Ice Arena. Practicing for the event are, from left, Katelyn Ferrara, Jessica Sample, Sydney Knauf, Holly Dawe, Sarah Faust, Olivia Nosel, Hannah Iovine, Jisue Kang, Caleigh Payne and NaYoung Yu. The show will be directed by Juliann Bontrager, director; and Nicky Kappenhagen, figure skating coach and instructor. The skaters have been rehearsing such numbers as Wipe Out, and The Codfish Ball. The event is open to the public and admission is free.
