Tri-C Jazzfest to star Grugels band

Ralph Grugels Eagle Jazz Band, representing the Earlville Association of Ragtime Lovers Yearning for Jazz Advancement and Socialization Society, will be the exclusive featured traditional jazz band at the Tri-C Jazzfest. The band will appear from 3 to 6 p.m. April 6 at the Hilton Garden Inn, 1100 Carnegie Ave. in Cleveland.

Grugel is famous for his energetic presentations of traditional jazz favorites and his humorous explanations of jazz history, according to EARLYJAS member Jim Emert.

Cost for admission will be $10 per person.
