McDonalds will hold its annual Easter egg hunt

McDonalds will hold its annual Easter egg hunt at the James A. Garfield Elementary School at 2 p.m. April 12. The Hiram/Garrettsville Area Chamber of Commerce will be conducting its 10th annual Garage/Sidewalk/Yard sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 26. Obtain your registration form so your location can be included on the map. Forms can be picked up at various businesses in Garrettsville or from Jerry Kehoe Used Cars on South Street in Garrettsville. The fee is $10, which includes advertising, a sign and maps. For information, call (330) 527-5222 Congratulations to Hiram resident Beth Groselle. Beth is swimming away with many records. She is a freshman at Hiram College and has set 11 individual records in 11 of the events. Some of the events consist of the 50 free style and the 400 individual medley. She was also part of five relay teams, which set school records. The team was the NCAC champion in the 200 individual medleys.Beth is the daughter of Jack and Nancy Groselle of Hiram. She is a graduate of Crestwood High School and was featured in the March 31, 2003 issue of Sports Illustrated in the Faces in the Crowd column. Garfield Drama Club is presenting its rendition of the musical Guys and Dolls on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The musical will be held at James A. Garfield Middle School. The Kiwanis Club of the Western Reserve will hold a spaghetti dinner April 11 at the Kennedy Center at Hiram College.
