More than 100 people attended an Eagle Court of Honor dinner to honor Daniel W. Enders on earning his Eagle Scout Award. Enders completed the Boy Scout of America program in 39 months. Several government, Scouting, and religious leaders were on hand to congratulate Enders personally. From left, are the Rev. Dr. Russell Goldner, religious mentor; Enders; Bonnie Goldner; and Robert Kunst, Scouting mentor. Highlights of Enders Scouting experience include senior patrol leader, representative to the Order of the Arrow, Scout camp, earning 33 merit badges, an Eagle Scout project honoring the American flag, and earning the God and Life religious award. Enders, who recently turned 18, is now registered with the Boy Scouts of America as an assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop No. 553. The troop is sponsored by the First Christian Church of Ravenna.
