Annual Eggstravaganza is April 19

The Ravenna Parks and Recreation Department will hold its fifth annual Easter Eggstravaganza at 10 a.m. April 19 at Ravenna City Park. The activities will begin with a live musical performance. The Easter bunny will arrive by fire truck at 10:15 a.m. and game and concession booths will also open at that time. The egg hunt will take place in a specially-designed area for children 1 to 10. Eggs will contain candy and special prize tickets. Photos with the Easter bunny can be purchased for $2 each. Egg hunt times are as follows: children 1 to 18 with disabilities, 10:15 a.m.; 1 to 2 years with parents, 11 a.m.; 1 to 2 years without parents, 11 a.m.; 7 to 10 years, 11:10 a.m.; 3 to 4 years, 11:15 a.m.; 5 to 6 years, 11:20 a.m. For more information, call (330) 296-2864 weekdays from 8 a.m. to noon or 1 to 4:15 p.m.
