Friends and family members are congratulating Raphael and Wilma Hearrell of Alliance on their golden wedding anniversary. The couple are former Ravenna residents who moved to Alliance in the years following their wedding. They were united in marriage on March 27, 1953 at the Ravenna Church of the Nazarene. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Hearrell was employed as a construction worker. Mrs. Hearrell was employed by Portage County prior to her retirement. The couples children and their spouses are Jeffrey Hearrell and his wife, Paula, of Charlotte, N.C., Tim Hearrell and his wife, Robin, of Homeworth, and Larry Hearrell of Alliance. The Hearrells enjoy spending their free time with their six grandchildren.
