EDINBURG Mansfields celebrate golden anniversary

Elsie and Harold Mansfield of Hughes Road were feted recently at the Edinburg United Church in celebration of their golden wedding anniversary. The party, which was planned by their children, was attended by 200 to 250 friends and relatives. Elsie Calvin and Harold Mansfield were married at the First United Methodist Church of Ravenna on March 28, 1953. They lived in Ravenna, then moved to Edinburg in 1957. Mr. Mansfield is retired from the Ravenna Post Office, where he was a rural mail carrier for many years. They are active in the United Church and have helped many young people by being 4-H Club leaders for 26 years. He is a longtime member of the Randolph Fair Board also. Their children are Diane Bishop of Edinburg, Linda Mansfield of Rootstown, Richard Mansfield and his wife, Fran, of Rootstown, and Roger Mansfield, who lives at home. They have three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mansfield
