Trail Walkers will hike along the Towpath

The Portage Trail Walkers will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday to walk north along the Towpath from Boston Mills Road. The flat, packed gravel base is 3.4 miles round trip if walkers turn back at Vaughn-Highland, and 4.5 miles if walkers turn back at the bicycle connector.

Those wishing to participate can take S.R. 303 west from Streetsboro through Hudson, into Peninsula. Turn right (north) at the second light onto Riverview. Go two miles and turn right (east) on Boston Mills Road for 0.2 miles. Find the Towpath and parking on the right.
