Indian Trails Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals, a not-for-profit professional organization for office professionals, will hold its Tuesday business and educational meeting at the Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown.
The meeting will start at 5:45 p.m. and is open to any office professional working or living in the Portage County area. The featured speaker this month is Joe Weyer, owner of Weyer Tactical. His topic will be "Self-Defense for Women -- The Necessity, the Options."
Det. Weyer has an extensive career in the military, including Special Ops, and as a member of the Alliance Police Department. He is a state certified firearms instructor, who also holds instructor certification in unarmed self-defense.
