District 13-D Lions Clubs past district governors hold banquet

The past district governors of Lions Clubs District 13-D held their annual banquet at A La Cart Catering in Canfield. Special guests were current District Gov. John Woodside of the Jackson Township Lions Club in Canton and wife, Midge, and spouses of the past district governors.

After dinner, there was a brief business meeting and a moment of silence for the 24 deceased members. Woodside gave his State of the District Address. There was much fellowship.

District 13-D is composed of some 53 Lions clubs in the counties of Mahoning, Trumbull, Portage, Stark and Columbiana.

Past District Gov. Donald Heldman of the Wellsville Lions Club chaired the event.
