A "Sandy Can't Stop Santa!" fundraiser will be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the Village Tavern in Mantua. The event will benefit a children's home that was devastated by Hurricane Sandy. All ages are welcome until 9 p.m., but after that only 19 and over will be admitted.
The cost is $8 for a pasta dinner, but ages 10 and under eat free. Tickets are available in advance or at the door. Donations also will be accepted at the Village Tavern.
The event will feature a Chinese auction as well as music by Tonya Steiner and Steve Dean, Kon Voll, Jeff Spurlock and SoBeIt.
