Historical Society plans 2012 holiday dances

The Deerfield Historical Society's third Monday dance will be a Christmas dance from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Monday at the Deerfield Town Hall, 1450 S.R. 14.

Food will be available for purchase. Live music will be provided for dancing and listening enjoyment. Admission is $3 per person.

The Society is accepting reservations for its annual New Year's Eve dinner-dance to be held from 7 p.m. to midnight Dec. 31 at the Deerfield Town Hall. Doors will open at 7 p.m. with buffet dining starting at 7:30 p.m. Music should begin about 8:30 p.m.

The Society will provide the pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, homemade breads, and beverages as well as dinnerware. Guests are asked to bring a dish to pass and pay a $10 admission per person. For reservations, call Sally Sampson at 330-654-3168.
