Turkey Trot nets 650 lbs. of food for 4C's

Advanced Rehabilitation and Health Specialists in Mantua held its 2012 Turkey Trot at 8 a.m. Thanksgiving morning and had more than 150 participants walk or run down the Headwaters Trail in Mantua. This is an annual event that is organized to promote health and fitness in the community and help collect donations for the 4C's. Linda Hurd, 4C's volunteer, looks over some of the more than 650 pounds of food that was collected this year. The Crestwood Coalition for Community Care is a food cupboard that provides food on an emergency basis to needy families in the Crestwood School District. For upcoming Advanced Rehab events, visit the website at www.arhs.us or call 330-274-2747. For more information about the 4C's, call 330-274-3310.
