'Fall Harvest Dance' brings in $1,000

Citizens for Addiction Recovery and Education (C.A.R.E.) held a "Fall Harvest Dance" fundraiser with disc jockey Donnie Root. The recent event also featured special musical performances by Max and Molly Swartout of Ravenna and Damien Chill Hill (C.H.I.L.L.), a minister and gospel rapper from The Bread of Life Ministries of Kent. C.A.R.E. raised about $1,000 from this event to help aid in the opening of a men's inpatient treatment facility in Ravenna in 2013. Taking part in the fundraiser are, from left, Molly Swartout; Jeremy Taugner, vice president and co-founder of C.A.R.E., CHILL; Valerie Root, president and co-founder of C.A.R.E.; and Max Swartout.
