Head Start visits Rufner's Farms

Published:

Kent Head Start Classes visited Rufner's Farms in Suffield this fall. Going on a tractor-pulled train ride throughout the farm are, from left, Anastasia Taylor, Serenity Kelly and Dylan Long. The children played in the clubhouse and went down the slide, which landed them in a box of corn kernels. There was also a large box with corn kernels for a sensory experience for children to dig, pour, and roll around in corn. Children were able to visit, pet, and feed farm animals. The children also were able to pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch. For more information about Head Start, call Valerie Fiala, outreach coordinator, at 330-297-7795.
