Kelly D. Michael and Evin M. Chambers were joined in marriage by the Rev. William J. Wisniewski in an Aug. 10 wedding ceremony at the University of Mount Union Dewald Chapel in Alliance.
Piano music was provided by Lesa Miller. The wedding colors were black and champagne.
The bride is the daughter of Jeffrey and Debra Michael of Rootstown. The groom is the son of Jeffrey and Adrienne Chambers of Randolph.
The bride was escorted by her father. She wore a slim silhouette gown of ivory with embellished corded lace below a sheer tulle overlay. The dress had a satin belt featuring a Swarovski crystal-encrusted motif at the center front, finished with a corset closure. Her bouquet contained an assortment of hydrangeas.
Christine Luketic of Kent served as her sister's matron of honor. Angela Beitzel of Rootstown was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Chambers of Randolph, sister of the groom; Koreen Ward of Kent; and Kylan Ward of Delray Beach, Fla.
Michael Ruppel of Akron was his cousin's best man. Groomsmen were Daniel Luketic of Kent, brother-in-law of the bride; Eric Arbogast of Kent; and Joe Payne of Rootstown.
A reception was held at St. Nicholas Banquet Center in Mogadore.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Rootstown High School and attends Stark State College. She is employed with A&W Drive-in restaurant in Tallmadge.
The groom attended Maplewood Career Center in Ravenna and Waterloo High School, graduating in 2004. He is employed with Furukawa Rockdrill USA in Kent.
Following a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, Mr. and Mrs. Chambers are residing in Rootstown.
