Robinson Memorial Hospital's Diabetes Care & Education Center recently hosted its annual community education program, Diabetes Dialogue, in recognition of Diabetes Month. The theme this year centered on the importance of vision and dental health and the relationship with diabetes. Dr. Elizabeth D. Muckley, director of Optometric Services at Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons, spoke on "Your Vision and Diabetes: Coping with a Chronic Illness." "A Clean Mouth Can Help You Control Your Diabetes!" was presented by Jane Durocher-Jones, assistant professor of the Dental Hygiene Program of Cuyahoga Community College.
