Brooke Aurit and John Nichols were united in marriage by the Rev. Craig Smith in a wedding the ceremony held Oct. 20 in Avon, Colo.
The groom is the son of Ed and Vicki Nichols of Kent. The parents of the bride are Mark and Susan Aurit of Bismarck, N.D.
Music was provided by Joe Schlegel, Megan Hamilton and Britt Harrington. The bride was escorted by her father.
Brita Burdette of Bismarck served as her sister's matron of honor.
The flower girls were Delaney Burdette, Emersen Fluhrer and Meredith Fluhrer, all nieces of the bride and all of Bismarck. Bridesmaids were Briana Fluhrer of Bismarck, sister of the bride, and Jeanna Turay of Avon, Colo.
Christopher Nichols of Missoula, Mont., served as his brother's best man. The ring bearer was Levi Burdette of Bismarck, nephew of the bride. Groomsmen were Hakem Dermish of Avon, Conn., and Eric Dietz of Solon.
A reception was held in Beaver Creek, Colo.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of the University of Minnesota and is employed with Adair Dental.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent and a 2004 graduate of Asbury University. He is employed with TV-8 in Vail, Colo.
The newlyweds are living in Avon, Colo.
