By Mary Louise Ruehr Published:

On her 80th birthday on Dec. 29, Donna Wolcott of Kent was treated to a party in her honor at the Fairways of Twin Lakes.

The hosts were her children. There were 21 well-wishers in attendance, including her sister, Laura Wiles, of Concord.

All four of her children came home for the party: Susan Shega of Cave Creek, Ariz.; David Wolcott of Seminole, Fla.; and Dan Wolcott and Tom Wolcott, both of Kent.

Donna was born in 1932. She married Bill Wolcott on June 4, 1954, and was widowed upon his death in April 2007.

She retired from the Ohio State University Cooperative Extension office in 1984. She owned and operated the Fashion Exchange consignment boutique in downtown Kent with Vi Ink for a number of years.

Donna has six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She attends the Ravenna Assembly of God Church and is a member of the Red Hat Society and Oak Branch Garden Club.
