Tanya Abbott of Edinburg has been named to the president's list and the dean's list for the fall semester at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Ga.
Abbott is a senior communication sciences and disorders major.
To make the president's list, students must be enrolled in at least nine semester hours of course work and earn a 4.0 grade point average during two consecutive semesters.
To make the dean's list, students must be enrolled in at least nine semester hours of course work and earn a grade point average of at least 3.6.
