The Portage County Historical Society will present its first program of the new year at 2 p.m. Saturday at the society, 6549 N. Chestnut St., Ravenna.
Barbara Petroski, librarian at the historical society, will present a power point slide program on Portage County Schools. The program includes photos of school buildings, pupils, and papers from 1850 to 1950. Attendees may bring photographs from their own collection to share with the group. Light refreshments will be served.
