The engagement of Sara Karpinski, the daughter of Joe Karpinski and Kathy Karpinski, both of Kent, to Eric Brandner, the son of Scott and Angel Brandner of Kent, is announced.
The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent and a 2013 graduate of Kent State University, where she earned a degree in construction management and where she is now employed.
Her fiancé graduated in 2007 from Roosevelt and earned a degree in construction management from Stark State College. He is employed with Al Brown Construction in Kent.
The wedding is planned for June 21, 2014, in Hudson.
