The Ravenna Parks and Recreation Department is offering line dance lessons Tuesdays from Feb. 5 to March 19 at Tower Lodge in John Tontimonia City Park in Ravenna. From 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. is for beginners; 7:30 to 8 p.m. is practice and open line dancing; and 8 to 9 p.m. is for high beginner line dance lessons.
The lessons are open to teens and adults, and students may stay for all or any part of the evening while they feel comfortable. Those attending should bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothing and dancing shoes.
The cost is $55 for city taxpayers or $60 for non-city taxpayers. The deadline to register is Friday by calling 330-296-2864.
