Winter Reading Program to begin at Reed Memorial Library

Winter Reading at Reed Memorial Library, 167 E. Main St., Ravenna, starts Monday and will continue through March 4.

The theme for the adult and young adult programs is "Fact or Fiction?" There will be weekly prizes and a grand prize drawing for the adult program.

Tickets will be available for every item (excluding movies) that an adult checks out.

A month-long, environmentally themed "Fact or Fiction?" trivia contest will be held, with the prize of a $25 Giant Eagle gift card.

Tickets for items checked out will also be available through the young adult program.

A ticket will be given for each item checked out (excluding movies) to be eligible for weekly prizes and a grand prize.

Patrons can also enter a daily "Fact or Fiction?" contest for a candy prize.

The children's theme is "Warm Up With Reading."

Patrons can pick up children's tickets at the children's desk to be eligible for a weekly prize (for books only). A children's kick-off program will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. The program's theme will be centered around the children's book "The Mitten" by Jan Brett.
