Rootstown Lions plan Reading Action Program

The Rootstown Lions Club hosted an evening meal dinner for District 3 Gov. John Woodside, at right, with Barb Sorkin, second vice district governor, and Rootstown Lions Club President Norm Reynolds. Woodside spoke on the mission of the Lions Club and also outlined the new mission for this year -- the Reading Action Program. This program is to focus on increasing literacy and access to learning resources throughout the community. To learn more about the literacy program and the club, call 330-297-0431.
