The Portage County Council of the American Legion Auxiliary will hold its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Streetsboro Unit No. 685.
This is a new meeting time. The group will be collecting new or gently used blankets at that meeting. The blankets will be given to needy veterans.
The Portage County Council consists of Auxiliary members from Deerfield No. 713, Windham No. 674, Kent No. 496, Ravenna No. 331, Mantua No. 193, and Streetsboro No. 685.
