A Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Christ Episcopal Church, 118 S. Mantua St., Kent. The event is sponsored by Boy Scout Troop No. 257 and Venture Crew No. 257. Getting ready for the dinner are, from left, Zach Jenkins, Joseph Howell, Andrew Neaffer, Colin Scahill, Finn Kaine, Jeffrey Terleckyj and Aidan Ruehr. The cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children, and free for children under 3. The dinner is open to the public.
