"Souper Thursday" will be held on Valentine's Day at the Deerfield Masonic Hall, 2380 S.R. 225, Deerfield, when Palmy Chapter No. 114, Order of the Eastern Star, hosts its monthly Soup-n-Salad from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
A donation of $6 includes a choice of three or four homemade soups, tossed salad, dessert and beverages. Carry-out service is available.
Proceeds from the suppers will be used for the chapter's philanthropic efforts, which locally include the Back Door Pantry at the Palmyra United Methodist Church as well as the American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Masonic Dyslexia Centers and ESTARL Religious Studies Scholarship program, among others.
