Breakfast fundraisers are slated in Ravenna

Portage County C.A.R.E., Children Always Resisting Enemies, will hold two fundraising breakfasts at the Skeels-Mathews Community Center in Ravenna, 4378 Skeels Ave. The breakfasts will take place from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and Feb. 23.

The menu will include eggs, grits, sausage, bacon, home fries, grilled onions and peppers, toast, biscuits, juice and coffee for a donation of $7 per person. Delivery is available by calling 330-296-7463.

Proceeds will go toward the children's upcoming trip to Louisville, Ky., for a youth congress in April. Donations are also being accepted. Contact Sharon Sanders, Skeels director, at 330-297-0192.
