The engagement of Erica Hogue, the daughter of Jack and Cheryl Hogue of Deerfield, to Matthew McClain, the son of Ed and Melody Hazelett of Stow, is announced.
The bride-elect graduated in 2002 from Southeast High School and in 2008 from the University of Akron.
She is employed with Summa Health System in Akron.
Her fiancé is a 2002 graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent and is employed with T-Mobile in Akron.
A Sept. 28 wedding is planned at the First Congregational Church in Ravenna.
