The engagement of Martha Zeit of Chicago, Ill., the daughter of John and Jan Zeit of Kent, to Andrew Cook of Chicago, the son of Bill and Betsy Cook of Excelsior, Minn., is announced.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent. She earned a teaching degree in 2006 from the University of Dayton and is employed with Huntington Learning Center.
Her fiancé, who grew up in Bloomington, Minn., also attended the University of Dayton.
He graduated in 2010 from John Marshal Law School and works in Chicago.
An April 6 wedding is planned in Cleveland.
