The engagement of Michael Anne Bissell of Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of Robert and Gloria Gagich of Atwater and Theodore Bissell of Los Angeles, Calif., to Philip Catelinet of Brooklyn, the son of Barry Catelinet of Bowie, Md., and Rebecca Catelinet of Johnstown, Pa., is announced.
The bride-elect is a 1993 graduate of Westmont Hilltop High School. She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 1998 from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a master's in special education in 2001 from the same school.
She is employed at the Mercy Home for Children in Brooklyn.
Her fiancé graduated in 1992 from Westmont Hilltop High School and in 1996 from Georgetown University. He is employed with the law firm of Cleary, Gottlieb, Hamilton and Steen in Manhattan, N.Y.
The wedding is planned for July 13 at Northeast Ohio Medical University in Rootstown.
