Scouts from the Mantua area recently conducted a food drive to benefit the 4C's food shelf.
Matthew Kulla, an Eagle Scout candidate from Troop No. 575, put out flyers and had drivers in place to pick up donations.
Matthew is the son of Kathy Kotkowski-Kulla and the late William Kulla. Matthew's drive was quite successful, in that he was able to gather more than 3,000 pounds of food.
Matthew is part of Troop No. 575 from St. Joseph's Church in Mantua. Others who helped with hauling and stowing the collection of food were Ben Wilde, David Defer, Chris Smith and George Leshak.
