The Silver Creek Garden Club recently met at the home of Linda Klamer. At this meeting, the members, including Marie Elium, left, and Barb Walker, planned their programs for 2013. The goals of the club are to stimulate knowledge and love of gardening, to share in the advantages of such associations, to aid in the protection of native plants, trees, birds and the environment and to encourage civic planting and beautification. The next meeting is set for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Garrettsville Village Hall. Lynn Vogel will speak on "The Winter Garden." For more information, call 330-274-8861.
