After several years of planning, the Charlestown United Methodist Church is launching a capital funds campaign, Building on the Rock. The purpose of this campaign is to fund the addition of a community life center to the existing building. This is an exciting venture for the church as there have been no additions to the church since the 1960s.

With the completion of this project, the community can be better served. The community life center will include accessible restrooms, a large gathering room, classrooms and a full kitchen along with a large welcome space and an entrance accessible to the rear parking area.

During the worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, David Krebs of the architecture firm of AoDK, will present a digital 3D model of the proposed addition. Since this is a large undertaking, donations from the community would be welcomed and may be sent to the church at 6408 Rock Spring Road,. Ravenna, OH 44266. We invite all interested members of the community to attend.
