Windham Library offers activities for March

By Mary Louise Ruehr Published:

Children of all ages may attend Storytime at 10:30 a.m. Mondays at the Windham Branch of the Portage County District Library, 9005 Wilverne Drive. Storytime is an opportunity for both the parent and child to spend some one-on-one time enriching the child's environment with stories, music, finger plays and movement.

The library will celebrate all things Irish by making a variety of St. Patrick's crafts March 11 to 15. Crafts are open to all ages during the library's hours of operation.

"Passport to Fishing" will be offered at 1 p.m. March 26. This program is taught by a trained volunteer instructor from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Wildlife. The hands-on program will teach techniques and provide information for beginning anglers. Registration is required, and class size is limited.

A free, family-friendly movie will be shown at 1 p.m. March 28. Those attending are encouraged to bring a snack.
