Mantua Rotary Club would like to thank all those who participated in the recent soup supper and Big Foot presentation. It was a huge success. Thanks go to Hilltop Christian Church for allowing the club to have the presentation in the sanctuary of the church. It was a big night.
This is the year for the Rotary-sponsored Christmas Walk. As the result of several calender conflicts, the dates will be the first two weekends of December, a departure from the usual dates early in November.

AnnaLee Heinl recently shared with me this photo of her family showing five generations. What a milestone that is for any family. In the center is Ezra Lee Barr wearing the yellow sweater, who celebrated his 94th birthday in late January. To the right of him is daughter AnnaLee Barr Heinl. To the left is LeeAnn Clemens holding Ember, her 2-month-old baby. Standing directly behind is Richard Clemens, LeeAnn's husband and father of the fifth generation baby. On the right is daughter AnnaLee with husband John behind her. In the center behind Ezra is Jennifer Heinl Clemens. Just in case you might have gotten lost, the five generations are Ezra, AnnaLee, Jennifer, Richard, and Ember. There were 12 children in the Barr family who lived on West High Street, just before Reservoir Drive. A sister, Ruth Belge, 88 years old, also resides in the Village with Scott and Sheila Major.
