The engagement of Alexis Rose Schaferkotter, the daughter of Donna and Barry Schaferkotter of Jackson, Miss., to Eric Grimm, the son of David Grimm of Kent and Barb Wendel and Ed McIlduff of Kent, is announced.
The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Academy of Our Lady in Marrero, La.
Her fiancé is a 2008 graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent.
Both the bride and groom are serving in the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Pendleton, Calif.
