Beyond Beginning Spanish class to begin on March 19

The next Beyond Beginning Spanish class will begin March 19 in Room 522 at Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent.

The five sessions cost $70 and will be held Tuesdays from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Taught by Amy Strajner, the class is designed for those with previous Spanish experience. The focus is on the use of the preterite vs. imperfect past tenses, the present progressive and possibly the present perfect tense.

Participants will learn real Spanish spoken in Latin America.
