Community AIDS Network, an Akron-area resource for people affected by AIDS and HIV, will hold its annual reverse raffle, Race at the Raffle, on March 23.
The benefit will take place at St. Joseph's Family Center, 610 W. Exchange St., Akron.
In addition to the main raffle, there will be a second chance raffle for $20, a 50/50 raffle, a "Stuff the Box" raffle and Night at the Races.
All money raised goes to the support of the programs of Community AIDS Network.
Ten race sponsorships are available on a first come, first-served basis, as are special table rates which include discount admission tickets and the rights to name individual tables.
Horse sponsorships are available for $20 and purchasers may name their horses. Special packages have a deadline of March 16.
Individual tickets are $75 per person and include a raffle ticket, buffet, admission to the Night at the Races and an open bar.
Tickets purchased after March 16 are $100 per person.
Tickets are available at canapi.eventbrite.com, and can be charged to Visa, Mastercard or Discover. Checks can also be mailed to the office payable to CAN, or tickets can be purchased by calling Dawn at 330-252-1559. Early discount checks must be received by March 16.
The mission of the Community AIDS Network is to prevent the further transmission of HIV through education and risk reduction efforts and to provide housing assistance and other services to people already affected by HIV/AIDS.
