The Light in Kent will sponsor the AARP/Toyota Driver Safety Course from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 16. The four-hour class will be held at The Light Ministry Center, 156 N. Water St. The cost is $12 for AARP members and $14 for non-members, and is offered to drivers of all ages. Free parking is available in the public lot on Columbus Street.
The course is designed to learn safe driving strategies and may qualify drivers for a discount on their auto insurance premiums. Participants will receive a comprehensive course workbook that provides a thorough review of the rules of the road.
