The Mantua Historical Society recently gathered to hear Bill Antel's talk on the tool chest of Arthur Wellington Davis that has been in the museum (located on the second floor of the Mantua Center Town Hall) since 1991.
Davis used the tools (planes, folding rules, stencils, shaves, awls, saws, etc.) contained in this tool chest to build the Mantua Hine House in 1892.
The organization will meet again at 7 p.m. Sunday to hear Norm Park entertain and educate with articles of past Mantua Record News.
The meetings, which are free and open to the public, are held in the Mantua Center Town Hall on the historic Mantua Center Green at S.R. 82 and Mantua Center Road.
The museum will be open after the meeting.
Light refreshments will be served.
