Engineer speaks to Dustman's Deputies

Portage County Engineer Michael Marozzi was the guest speaker at the February meeting of Dustman's Deputies.

Marozzi talked about the work of the engineer's office. He spoke of past and future projects for the county, along with Ohio Department of Transportation projects.

A question-and-answer period followed.

Dustman's Deputies was formed by law enforcement personnel who served under Portage County Sheriff Ross Dustman from 1957 to 1969.

The group meets at 9 a.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at Digger's Bar and Grill, 802 N. Mantua St. (S.R. 43) in Kent. Meetings are open to all current and former law enforcement personnel. The next meeting will be held on Tuesday.
