The engagement of Adriane Smith of Mayfield Heights, the daughter of Scott and Amy Smith of Meadville, Pa., to Aaron Emig of Cleveland Heights, the son of John and Vicki Emig of Kent, is announced.
The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Saegertown High School and a 2005 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, The Behrend College, in Erie, Pa., with a degree in mathematics. She is employed with the Cleveland Orchestra.
Her fiancé is a 2000 graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent and a 2004 graduate of Kenyon College in Gambier. He is employed with Spalding Emig Co. in Kent.
The couple will exchange vows on Aug. 24 at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
