The Portage County Beekeepers will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Maplewood Career Center, 7075 S.R. 88, Ravenna.
Speaker for the meeting will be Kim Flottom, editor of Bee Culture magazine and past president of the Ohio State Beekeepers Association.
His topic will be "Beekeeping: The Second Year." The meeting is open to the public. Finger food for the refreshment table would be welcome. For more information, contact Peg Kaminski at 330-673-0664.
