Donation makes Eggstravaganza possible

Ravenna's annual Easter Eggstravaganza will be held this year, thanks to United Healthcare-Community Plan stepping forward for the fourth year to again be the Title sponsor. United Healthcare Community Plan made a $1,000 donation to the event which will be held at John Tontimonia City Park in Ravenna on March 30.

United Healthcare Community Plan provides insurance for members in 46 Ohio counties, including Portage.

The day's activities will begin at 10 a.m. with game booths opening and the Easter Bunny's arrival on a fire truck.

There will be designated areas for children ages 1 through 10 to search for eggs, and an egg hunt for children ages 1 through 18 with disabilities. Eggs contain candy donated and filled by Ravenna Women of the Moose No. 540. Ravenna Giant Eagle's Nest will provide free photos with the Easter Bunny in addition to special egg hunt prizes.
