'A Celebration of Lights' set Dec. 4

The Auxiliary of Robinson Memorial Hospital will host its annual "A Celebration of Lights" on Dec. 4 at the hospital in Ravenna.

"A Celebration of Lights" is an event that provides the community with the opportunity to honor their loved ones who have passed away, through the purchase of lights, angel ornaments and trees to be displayed throughout the holiday season at the main hospital entrance. Donations for recognition are due by Nov. 13.

Donation contributions available include:

n $5 -- Light on outside trees, located at the front entrance

n $50 -- Angel on the Tree of Angels, located in the main lobby

n $100 -- Silver Tree for the Walk of Trees, located at the front entrance

n $200+ -- Gold Tree for the Walk of Trees, located at the front entrance

The celebration begins at 6:30 p.m., with musical entertainment. The ceremony begins at 7 p.m., which features speakers, a candle vigil, and procession. Light refreshments will follow the procession.

Proceeds from the ceremony will be used to purchase equipment and services that enhance patient care provided by Robinson Memorial Hospital.
