A luncheon meeting of the Portage County Human Resource Association will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 19 at Maplewood Career Center, 7075 S.R. 88, Ravenna.
Vince Tersigni will speak on "Labor Law: They're Out To Get Me!" Tersigni brings experience regarding employment law from the employer perspective.
He focuses exclusively on representing employers in both the public and private sectors in labor and employment law matters, including employment discrimination, non-competition litigation, wage and hour, unemployment compensation, civil rights, union negotiations, arbitrations, union elections, State Employment Relations Board (SERB), National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), and Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) matters.
Registration and networking start at 11:30 a.m., followed by lunch and the presentation at noon.
The cost is $12 for members and $14 for non-members and guests.
