The Ravenna Parks and Recreation Department has teamed up with American Kids Unlimited, which utilizes Motion Evolution Curriculum that follows a standard format including warm-up, body position, stretching, and skill challenges.
Classes will focus on basic gymnastics skill to include balance, coordination, flips, and stretching.
The fourth session starts March 4.
Each Tuesday evening, ages 3 to 4 will meet from 5 to 5:30 p.m., ages 5 to 6 meet from 5:30 to 6 p.m., and ages 7 to 10 meet from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
Classes will be held at Tower Lodge at John Tontimonia City Park in Ravenna.
A new class begins each month. Participants who take multiple sessions will be eligible to perform at the annual recital in April.
