'Dine to Donate' set at Bob Evans

Published:

A retired East Cleveland police officer has reached out to raise funds for a service dog for his son, Rocco. Bob Evans Restaurants all over Northeastern Ohio will support this effort.

Bob Evans Restaurants will host a "Dine to Make a Difference" initiative all day Friday and Saturday.

Rocco was born in July 1997 with Autism-Developmental Delay.

Rocco has always been an animal lover, and the addition of a specially trained service dog will improve his socialization and relationship skills and provide much-needed aid and emotional support as Rocco faces the challenges of his everyday life.

Rocco has asked for a companion that will make him feel safe and positive about himself.

To take part, visit www.wags4kids.org, print out Rocco's flyer and visit any Northeastern Ohio Bob Evans location to dine and turn in the flyer. Bob Evans restaurants will donate 15 percent of the sales with the flyer on Friday and Saturday.
